The Harvest Party!

Bobbing for Apples is one of the games that we are going to play tonight.
BTW- I don't like this game at ALLLLLL! I wasn't in charge of picking out the games. There is just something I don't like about sticking my face in water that 20 other people have stuck their face in. OH YUCK!!!!!

I took one of my Ann Arbor news routes off so I could attend my twin boy’s last Football game. I am really looking forward to seeing them play. I really don't think they get a lot of playing time in, but I think they will like me being their. They said they would.

In Awana tonight we are going to have a Harvest party for the 3rd and 4th grade girls. We are going to start with a hay ride, after the hay ride we will have a council time message and I will lead the girls in few songs. We have food, games and activites planned for the girls. I think it is going to be such a fun and exciting evening.

Bo is going to a Corn Maze in his Awana group tonight. He is very excited about going, I'll blog about our evening tomorrow.

I am going to go shopping in the morning with my daughter to pick out an outfit to wear to the Worship - Fest. We decided we were going to try to match outfits with the fellow we will be singing a few songs with. We decided to try to find matching black blazer's with black pants. I think we should add a little color to our tops we pick out? It should be a fun morning. Maybe, I'll take Bec out to breakfast?

After Awana I have a lot of practcing to do. I am practicing with the Trio I am in and the quartet. Thursday evening after Worship team practice I have to practice with a few people I am doing duets with. I have them lined up back to back so I should be done by the time I need to start working.

I'd better head off to bed! It's 2:52 a.m. I just got home from my cleaning job. 6:00 a.m. comes very early.

I don't know how you do it Lori. You are a very busy lady.
I never could figure out that apple bobbing. Doesn't the water just go right up your nose?
Take care - and get a little rest!!

Wow, back to back duets, how do you do it all! Nice that you and your daughter will get to have a little quality time dress shopping. Twin boys that play football, now that's exciting! Go Team! Icky on bobbing for apples, especially when they have teeth marks from lost causes. lol Sounds like you are going to have a blast! Love Hayrides! :)

I laughed out loud about the apple game. I'm with you, I'm not sticking my face where others have been!
2 of my kids are in Awana. :)
(we seem to be using the same time schedule) :)

PEA,

I remember bobbing for apples when I was young also. I never thought of how disgusting and germ infected it was. I now can't even stand my children drinking out of my cup. Old age I guess?

e-Mom,

I really do take naps on Sunday afternoons. This past Sunday I just couldn't fit one in. Normally my husband lays down with me so I don't think I am missing anything. Next thing I know I'm sleeping and he leaves for work.

Linda,

I really am praying things will slow down next week.

Pamela,

We have a big singspiration on Sunday at our church. I am singing duets with 3 different people. I just have to get through a few more days.

J. Andrew Lockhart,

How old are your children?

mouse,

The evening was a blast! Boaz had a great time. Thank you for wishing him well. : )
