Enjoying the summer

Things are slowing down now that baseball season is over. Boaz is in wrestling right now. I have planned some fun outings for Bo and his brother's. Today we are going to Jungle Java to play. Next week Bo' three older brother's will be gone to camp so I am going to take Bo' to the zoo on Friday. We are going to go with his best friend Josh.

I went swimming in our new pool with Bo on Monday. He really enjoyed this. Things are back to normal around our home now.

We spend our evenings weeding the garden, swimming in the pool, or just sitting down and watching a good movie.

Strawberries

We picked strawberries today. My mom is getting ready to make strawberry jelly right now. We just got back from Levi's (my cousin') baseball game. Mom told my Uncle last night that she would take Levi to his game. My Uncle Matt has five children. His daughter's had a game in Manchester tonight. My Uncle works afternoons, so mom said she would helped them out. Levi's team won their first game tonight, it just so happened to be their last game of the season. Levi got an RBI.

I'll let everyone know how mom's jelly turns out. I want to go help her.

Awesome Last game of the Season

Tonight's game I have to say was the best game of the season. Bottom of the fifth brought a tie game. Top of the sixth, three up three down. Bottom of the sixth three up three down.(It is now a tie game, which lead us into over-time). Same with the seventh. Top of the eighth, runner on first, pop fly, the ball was caught, batter out. Two infield grounde'rs batter's out. Bottom of the eighth, bottom of our batting order. A kid that hasn't hit the ball all season hit, and got on first base. Next, two batters were walked. Bases loaded, one out, top of our batting order. Top batter, little hit to the infield, out at first. Second batter ripes the ball to the outfield, scored all four runner, game over we won. I think mom aged ten years watching this game. For 9 and 10 year olds I have to say this was almost as good as watching the pros. Our coaches are the top guys over base ball in our town. I had so much fun playing ball. My uncle Matt was one of the coached for the other team. He is a great coach. We have a pool party on Wednesday evening to end the season. I can't wait.

We get our Trophies on Friday night.

Just in case anyone wants to know. I got two hits.

They are the Champions.

Bo' team beat the Red Sox on Saturday. They have already won the Championship. They have another game on Monday, they already have less losses than all the teams. Friday evening they will receive their Trophies. Boaz has played well this year.

The Championship

Last nights ball game was a miricle win. We were 7 runs behind in the last inning. We got the bats on the ball and won the game. I got a hit, ran to first, and they called me out. I was safe!!!!!! Everybody said I was safe, even my coach. He asked the umpire if he was watching the same game we were. It was kinda funny.

I think we will win the championship. We will find out next week, on Monday.

We still have two more games. Mom thought we only had one to go. I have a game Saturday and Monday. We verse two good teams both days.

Two games away from the big trophy

Bo' team is two games away from winning first place. Last night the team rocked again. All of the boys played well. Some of those children can really hit the ball. Children that haven't swung the bat all year were swinging and doing a good job. I enjoy watching them. Boaz is one of the littlest kids on the team. He is holding his own.

The big Trophy

My Uncle Matt was in church today, he said the team he coaches lost yesterday. That means my baseball team is in first place alone now. If we don't lose anymore games we will get the big trophy in two weeks.

Nothing to do

I went to church this morning. I love the singing, we sang some good songs.

Tied for first place

Boaz' team won 30/1, I felt badly for the other team. I could tell it was a long game for them. We only made it to four inning. Three more games and the season is over.

Boaz is hitting so well now. He played center-field and short stop. Bo played well today. He is watching the ball and focusing on the game.

I don't care if they win or lose, as long as Bo plays his best. (except for my brothers team I do want to beat them) Hee, Hee. They are tied in first place with Bo'team. He is the coach for his son's team.

More Ball

Boaz has yet another game today. Just two more weeks and ball will be over. They are still in first place.

A good school year for Boaz

Today marked the end of another school year. Boaz was very upset to leave all his class mates and his teacher. His teacher made a DVD of all the events that took place this school year. Boaz asked me if I would sit down and watch it with him. He was making comments throughout the whole thing. It was very hard for him to sit and watch it. He cried at the end of it, the DVD showed pictures of each of his class mates. I got tears in my eyes as well, knowing how close he got to his teacher and friends. His teacher wrote the children a poem, Boaz waited until I got home tonight to have me read it to him. He started to cry again, I had to hold back my own tears.
Boaz went around to all of his class mates and hugged them all before the end of school today. My husband said that I have made Boaz just like me. I guess it could be worse.
I do have to say it was a good school year for Boaz.

Boaz had another game tonight. YA!!! They won!

Boaz got the game ball for his hits.

Another win

My team won another ball game last night. We are still in first place.

This is my last day of third grade. I am sad about leaving my teacher. She has taught me alot this year. She is fun, I will miss her.

My class got to go to the park yesterday. It was so much fun.

Boaz and his teacher

I took Boaz to the store to buy a lunchable and his teacher some flowers. Boaz picked out a beautiful mixed bouquet of flowers. This is pretty funny; Bo asked me before we went into the store, if he could get some playing cards incase it rained. I told Boaz we needed to find the cards and get him to school. He went to the card department and started reading the cards. He said he found the prefect card. I said, I thought you wanted playing cards. He said, oh yea! that's right. I had to laugh out loud at that. (He was reading birthday cards for thirty year olds) When Boaz came home from school he said his teacher was thirty, it was for her.

I went in to school with Boaz so I could help him carry all of his things. We put the flowers on the teacher's desk, she was in the class next door. Boaz told her he wanted her to have flowers as a thank you for being such a good teacher. She started crying, which made Boaz start crying.
I know we made the right choice to move Boaz to this school. His teacher was wonderful.
She had so much energy and spunk. I have to say, it was a good year for Boaz. His report card was GREAT!! Almost all excellent's.

School is almost out for the Summer

I passed third grade! I am so excited! I have 1 1/2 more days of school to go. I really love school, I will miss it. I loved my teacher. I am going to buy her flowers this morning before I go to school.
I get to go to the park and play all day. I am sooooo excited. I have another game tonight. I sure hope we win. We are in first place right now.

Bo played a great game of ball

When Bo said he was going to try and hit a home run, he wasn't joking. Bo had two good hits last night. His team won 23/7. Bo told me he prayed and asked God to help him hit the ball. He said he could feel that God was with him last night.
He had a good day at the zoo! Maybe he will blog about it tomorrow. He was tried this morning.

A really, really good day

I get to go to the zoo today with my class! I am so excited! Mom is going to run me to the store before school and buy me a lunchable. It is going to be a really, really, good day today. I have a baseball game tonight. I am going to try and get a good hit tonight, maybe even a home run.

A good day

I got to spend the night at my nephews house last night. My mom went to my brother's baseball game today, I got to stay home with my older brother. My mom just got home; she stayed and watched her nephew's team play ball. They beat my brother's team and went on in the tournament.

My game got cancelled for today, so mom is going to take us out to eat. My mom is the best! I can't wait to see were we are going to go. My mom wants to wait until after the storm dies down. There is a bad storm right now, it is hailing.

My Pool

After I came home from school yesterday I got to go in my new pool for 15 minutes. Then I had to go in to change into my baseball clothes so I would be ready for my baseball game. My pool is 18' - 48'. It is huge to me. I can stand in it, it goes up past my heart. It was freezing in there too.
My brother's went in the pool with me.

My oldest brother Bob ( not a real name, mom said I can't use his real name on my blog) is very tall and skinny. He has no muscles. He is in wrestling so he can take on people. They have to be smaller than him. He likes to pick up the neighbor kid.

My baseball game

We won our second game of baseball last night. It rained for half the game, I got soaked. I got to go get ice cream after the game with the team because we won. I got a shake. We were losing by 7 runs, in the fifth inning we caught up and in the last inning we pulled ahead by one runs. Mom said; it was a very exciting game.
