Wild About You

God created livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals on the sixth day of creation.

"Wild" sometimes means hostile or violent, but a wild animal is simply an animal that lives in the state of nature, untamed by man. Therefore, lions and tigers are wild animals, but so are deer and giraffes.

When Adam was created, God told him to "rule over the fish or the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on teh ground" Genesis 1:28

When Adam and Eve were first created they had nothing to fear from any of the animals. Genesis 1:29 tells us that man and animals were given the plants of the earth for their food.It was only after Adam sinned that some of the animals became meat-eater. And many became dangerous!

Genesis 1:29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Romans 8:21-22 tell us that the creation groans because of man's sin. It continues to suffer in death and decay ntil the day when God brings about a new heaven and a new earth.

Romans 8:21-22 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

Christ will reign in the new earth, and His reign will be marked by peace. Isaiah 11 descibes that peace by saying, "the wolf will live with the lamb, the leapard will lie down with the goat." There will no longer be anything for God's children to fear!

Genesis 1:25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Lori, I'm liking your creation series. Do you plan to put them together in a booklet? Or maybe give a class?

Romans 8:21-22 is one of my favorite Scriptures. From it I believe that dogs will go to heaven when Christ comes again.

Joyce Elliot on her radio broadcast once said that and gave me the idea. The more I read it and study about it I think that is what will happen (dogs go).

I'll wait to know about your husband and medical situations. You have a lot going for you. I'm glad you are coping.
