A special morning Out

My daughter-in-law turns 30 today. I am watching my grandchildren this morning so my daughter could take her out to breakfast and get her a manicure and pedicure. We wanted to do something special for her. She is a stay at home mom that doesn't get out much.

My son had a birthday party for her yesterday. He made her dinner and a beautiful cake. He saved a little money out of each of his checks so he could give her money that didn't come from their check book. I was very proud of my son for doing this for her. They have 3 adorable children. 2 little boys ( 8 and 3) and a little girl (6 months). She is a very good mom to these children. I am glad it worked out that I could watch my grandbabies and my daughter had the morning off to take her out.

Connie,

I love my daughter-in-law. I have to say one good thing about having so many sons, is gaining some wonderful daughters.

dot,

I think my Jess had a good birthday. I was so proud of my son yesterday, I called him today to tell him what a good job he did. I know he is 28, but sometimes us moms still feel the need to tell our older children they did a good job.

revee,

Jess was very happy with what we all did for her for her birthday. We all wanted her to feel special, because she is so special.

Hi Lori -- You are a good Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Mother-in-law, Sister, Daughter, Wife.
What/who did I miss?
Be sure to help Lori sometimes too. We don't want you to get burned out or dispaired. I know you keep close to the Lord, he sustains you.

Pea,

I will be able to spend more time reading blogs now that my children are back in school. My daughter-in-law said she had a very nice birthday. She said, she felt very special.

Jim,

I really don't know what I would do if I were not able to serve others. I enjoy it so very much. I will stay close to the Lord. Thank you for the reminder.

That is so sweet...30 was a big deal to me, so I'm sure she enjoyed the extra special things from all of you! She'll always remember that!

greenspot,

I am the lucky one to have her in our family. What I love most about her, she allows me to have my grandchildren as much I want. She encourages me to come over and see them. She is the one that set down with me to plan things out for us to do together this summer with our children. I love Jess with all my heart!
We get alone very well.

LeslieAnn,

30 was special for me as well. I guess we all had the same idea when we planned stuff for her. We all wanted her to have a special birthday.

greenspot,

You are right, I am really not suppose to be liked by my daughter-in-law. One thing I have learned is; I don't get in their business. I know what they want me to know and that is all.
