I am glad the weekend is over

My life seems a little bit on the busy side right now. With the kids starting school and all the fall programs starting up, I can hardly keep up with things.

Since Friday I have been going non stop; I worked my cleaning job and motor route, plus I had my niece-in-law and her children over for dinner and a movie after work. I want to try and have her over a few times a month. With her husband in jail it seems like none of my family is reaching out to her. After a long year apart, my nephew started drinking; he is now in jail for drinking and driving, he caused an accident that hurt his best friend. My nephew and niece-in-law had gotten back together right before Jeremy's sentencing. They are trying to make their marriage work. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. God has forgiven her, I have to also. I feel like I need to reach out to and the children right now.

Saturday brought yet another busy day; I went to a baby shower for a good friend of mines daughter-in-law. I felt like I should really be there for my friend. She is the lady I wrote about earlier this summer, she is the one that took me out for a surprise birthday event.

I work on Saturday afternoons cleaning my church; I also had to practice my songs for Sunday's singing at Immanuel. My only regret is, I didn't get to go see Bob.

Sunday brought more fun; I worked through the night on Sunday delivering papers. I have 700 hundred total Sunday papers to deliver. I didn't get home from work until 8:30 a.m. my papers were late again, I had to hurry when I got home so I wouldn't be late for my singing at Immanuel. The singing went very well, I prayed that God would be gloried and I think He was. They gave me a standing ovation, which I turned over to the Lord. I sang three song; "In His Time", "You are my Hiding Place", "There is Joy in the Lord".

Sunday afternoon I had to take AJ to his wrestling practice at the U of M. While he was busy with wrestling, I went and got all the things for his Birthday party, which we had tonight. I'll blog about AJ tomorrow.

The weekend was full yet very rewarding.

I'm tired just reading all that! My weekends consist of work (which is never fun on the weekends) spending a little time with the kids, working in the nursery at church, and trying to sleep.

I think most people are happier if they stay busy but there is a thin line between being busy and getting stressed out from over doing. Glad the singing went well!

I think that is very loving and caring of you to reach out to your neice in law. I think a lot of families would not do that. Gee you have a busy life.

Connie,

You are a busy mom also. I do tend to over do it some weekends, but I really do like to stay busy.

greenspot,

Monday thru Friday I deliver my papers in the afternoon. On Saturday I deliver them at 3:00 a.m. I leave my house at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning and return around 7:30-8:30 depending on if my papers are on time or late. I normally go right to church and get ready there. I am on a worship team every other week. We are suppose to be at church at 7:45 a.m. to run through the set to make sure we are ready to lead the congregation in Worship

Dot,

I am happier when I am busy. I do not like to be bored. You know what the Bible says about idle hands.

Mouse,

I know Terra has sinned and caused a lot of heartache. She has come back to the church and repented. Who am I no to forgive her?
