Small Accident - This is a little humor from my Mom!

To my darling husband,

Before you return from your business trip, I just want to let
you know about the small accident I had with the pickup truck
when I turned into the driveway.

Fortunately, it's not too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so
please don't worry too much about me.

I was coming home from Wal-Mart and when I turned into the
driveway, I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead
of the brake.

The garage door is slightly bent, but fortunately, the pickup
came to a halt when it bumped into your car.

I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality
you will forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for
you, my sweetheart.

I am enclosing a picture for you.

I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.

Your loving wife.

Thanks for sending this to me Mom. Goodness, this is soooo me! Still ROFL!

Dear Mom,

I only got into two accidents this year. Now, if you are referring to three years ago when my truck slide in front of that Semi and they had to total it. Just remember, it was snowing pretty hard that day. OK two weeks later I did happen to run head-on into a parked car with my brand New Ford Ranger. It was Christmas morning and very foggy PLUS they were parked in a no parking zone. (I know what you'll are thinking! NO, I don't drink) LOL!! Oh my, this was soooo me!

Mom,

I have to share how this fit into my day. Jim and I were on our way home from our normal Saturday Whole foods shopping trip. It snow just enough to make our street icy. Jim went to pull into the driveway and the van just kept going. He said he thinks he could have made it but he would have taken out the mail box and my white picket fence.

He said, "I know you would have just tried it anyway and ran over everything in your sight".

I can’t help it if Semi’s, Car’s, Mailboxes, ditches happen to be in my way. Now can I?

LOL!!!

I would have never run over my fence. Maybe our mailbox but never the fence. Your email just came at just the right time.

Thanks for bringing lots of laughter my way.

I love you lots,

Lori

We had something like that happen last night in Houston. A lady was racing, crossed over the medium into on coming traffic, bounced into a house/garage, went through the garage, and was stopped by the backyard fence.
She also had been drinking!

Glad your Mom's report was good. I have been lax in my blogging or I would have caught that earlier.

Hang in there, Lori,
..

Jim,

Thank you for your prayers. It seemed like a lot was going on in our lives for a while. Some frighting stuff, I guess I would have to say.

Now remember-I wasn't drinking nor do I drink. LOL!!!
