Hi All!

Hopefully, I'll be blogging again soon!

I'm a little busy trying to get my sons graduation/going away party in order.

I want to thank all of my blogging friends for your comments and your visits to my blog. I love to journal; it is a hobby to me. I also love to visit blogs! Many of your blogs inspire me to be a better follower of Christ. (I am taking very small baby steps forward but my family is noticing the difference) Many make me smile and LOL! I love all the poems, pictures and just plain family journals. Some of you inform me of what is going on in the News, here in the U.S. and also Overseas. (I don't have outside T.V. so this is very helpful) I enjoy all of them. While I take a short break from blogging, I wanted to take a minute and thank all of you for how much you have touched my life.
A.J.'s baby picture.

This is A.J. all grown up.

The only person that can hold me accountable is ME! I told myself until I get A.J.'s announcements sent out and things in order for his party; my hobby just has to be put on hold. I have everyone at church invited but I really need to get family and my close friends invitations sent out. A.J. graduates in two weeks; were does the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was trying to figure out if it would be better to continue to home school my children or send them to public school. (I Home schooled my children for 5 years) I am so very proud of A.J. for his accomplishments. I won't say it has been a bed of roses and we haven't had our trials throughout his schooling but we only have two weeks left. It's time to let the past go and move on to bigger and better things. Before I know it, my boy (Or should I say man)will be leaving for the Navy. (He leaves August 22, 07) It is hard to believe my baby is all grown up.

Blessings to you all,

Lori

It really is amazing how quickly the years go. I know you are so very proud of him. You've done a great job Mom.

e-Mom,

I am excited and a bit scared at the same time. I have no idea how many people to plan for? I am sure it will be fine but my nerves are about shot. That you for your kinds words. I'll tell A.J. what you said. I'll be back soon.

Yes, we are blessed to be bloggers.

Corry,

Thank you, so do I. I'll be back as soon as I get my work done. I find myself at times spending way to much time blogging and not enough time getting the things that need handled, handled.

Deepak Gopi,

Oh thank you Deepak! I'm sure the Navy life will be an adjustment for him but this was his choice.

Linda,

Yes, the years go way to fast for my liking. I can't believe my baby is 10. Yikes, before I know it I will be planning his graduation party. I am proud of him, he has been a good boy. Thank you for your kind words.

groovyoldlady,

Sometimes real life has to come first. LOL!! I'll be by to visit you soon. YOu are one of those blogs that make me LOL!!

Hi Lori -- Congratulations A.J! Congratulations Lori, too. You certainly are a big help to your kids.
I've been gone for more than a week now so haven't been keeping up with things.
I'm glad you did have a nice Mother's Day. A mother's responsibility is an awesome God given task.
I read in the paper this morning a statement about having children that should alwaya make parents glad they did.
"(Our daughter)... was out there waiting, really it (having children) was a part of the journey."
We are being released early from jail tomorrow and will be in Newark, NJ, then.

Jim,

I'll be dropping in here and there over the next two weeks. I can't just stop checking in. We got A.J.'s cake ordered today. I am now going to finish finding all the addresses for our family and friends. After that, I just have to figure out how many to plan on. It is hard, because we invite the whole church, plus family and friends. Our church has over 600 people now but I don't know all of them. They know me because I sing on the Worship Team. I just don't know how many will show up. 300/400? It almost makes my stomach hurt not knowing how to prepare for this.

Lori, you just prepare as best as you can and know, and leave the rest in God's hands.:-)Try to have faith and it will work out fine.

God's Grace.

What a handsome boy!

Life is different when the kids start leaving home and sometimes, hard to adjust to but being an empty nester, such as I have been for quite a while now, has many blessings too.

corry,

Thank you for the reminder, to turn this over to God and not freak out.

Dianne,

Thank you! I think he is pretty handsome too! I sure is hard watching my children grow up and leave home. I know this is a good thing.

Blessings to you,

Lori

Handsome son! And a special time to remember fondly in the years ahead. Yep, I know about nerves. Just got our 3rd child married this past weekend, and the wedding was a lot of work. Still, a labor of love. Blessings to you! Found you via e-mom.

Hi Lori,

He's such a handsome young man and yes ma'am, he's definitely not a little boy any more. Graduation is such a huge milestone and leaving in August is even bigger. I know you're justifiably proud of him.

Whew! It's a comfort to know I'm not the only one under such pressure to get invitations in the mail. Mine are done - 126 wedding invitations on their way as of yesterday.

I gave two HUGE graduation parties and I know how much work they are. Can't wait to hear all about yours.

By the way, since you asked. Cameron is doing so much better. He's been with his daycare mom all week and she's done a great job of keeping his blood sugar levels steady. He'll be back with me tomorrow. Sigh. Another day of finger pricks and insulin shots but already I can see that I'm getting more used to the whole idea. We're just thankful his levels aren't so out of control any more.

Kristy,

Thank you for saying such kind words. I can really us them right now. I’m feeling real weepy today. With the graduation and my boy leaving it is really starting to hit me hard. Thank you for your prayers, I really need them right now.

Abhishek,

There are all kinds of blogs out in blog land. I just like to write about the things that are on my mind.

2:33 AM

Vicki,

Thank you! I think he is very handsome also. It sounds like you really know what I am going through right now. I'm know I'm not alone and all the prayers are helpful.

Barb,

I know I don't know you or your grandson but I sure have been praying for him. He is so very young to have to go through all of this.

Thank you for your kind words and prayers. I'll be back just as soon as this is all over. I just need to concentrate on all of this right now.

Jim,

I sure am sorry that you feel down those stairs and had to cut your vacation short. Know that my prayers are with you.

jel,

I'll be visiting you uplifting blog soon!
donna,

Thank you, I really need them right now. thank you for your sweet words. I'll be back as soon as I can. I have a house guest also so I am really trying to stay away from blogging right now. My daughter goes back to S.C. on June 11th. I will be faithfully blogging again after that.
