Fun morning with Jack

My Step-dad is holding his own right now. No signs of another Stroke. PTL!!!

Awana was a blast last night! I had such a great time with my girls. I'm looking forward to the Tea Party next week. I have some special things planned for them to do. A fun craft, some fun songs to sing, we will have hot tea and some finger foods. Council time will be about God's love for us. This is the kind of love I want to share with the girls. I have one girl in my group that I am really working on trying to get her to understand how important it is to put other's before herself. She talks out without raising her hands. She gets very upset at the other girls if I am giving them attention. Last night, I could see how my efforts are really paying off. She came prepared with her memory verses, she was kind to the other girls. It was a wonderful evening. It will be hard to wait a whole week until the Tea Party.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. ~1 Corinthians 13:4-8

I'm picking Jack up (my 4 year old grandson) this morning and taking him to get a popcorn popper. It is a cute little one (looks like the ones they have at the theater but smaller) He loves popcorn! I am excited about our morning together.

I have Worship Team practice after my route today, then I'll spend a few hours at home with my family, before heading off to my Janitor's job.
