My friend’s surgery went o.k. it took longer than what she expected it to take. They had to go in twice to get what they needed. The Doctor said she would find out by Wednesday of next week if it is Cancerous or not. This is the same friend that took me out for a very special birthday surprise.
Living for the simple things in life: The gift of Love
Thank you so much for all of your prayers; please continue to pray for her and her family. Her husband was going through a pretty rough time today. He loves his wife so much and doesn't like to see her go through this.
I got all my cooking done last night for my friend and my family.
I put a roast with potatoes and carrots in the roaster for my friend and her family. I also made them brownies for desert. I also made roast and potatoes and carrots for my family. I put it in my crock pots and turned them on before I left this morning at 5:30 a.m. I just got home and my kids said it was delicious; I pray my friend and her family think it was good as well.
Tonight I was suppose to take Bo and Josh (my son and grandson) to a fun night at their school. My daughter-in-law called me today to tell me Josh came home from school with a fever. Yes, he had the hands, mouth, and foot illness. My granddaughter has a fever as well.
I might still take Bo if he wants to go. He was crying when I asked him about it. It was suppose to be something special for Bo and Josh to do together. What can be done if someone is sick? I told Bo and Josh I would make this up to them by taking them to the movies next weekend.

You inspire me with your servant's heart. I know your friend and her family appreciate that dinner and the love that went into it.
I pray she will get a good report and that all the kids will get over this thing soon!
Lori, You are so very special and your posts are so encouraging. You are so selfless and loving and you model Jesus in all that you do with your servant's heart. Thank you for being such a special friend.
The next few days will still be very hard on your friend and her family as they wait for the results...they are very lucky to have you in their lives, I'm sure it comforts them that you care:-)
I remember reading the other story about your friend (which you linked to here.) She is such a sweetie, and I know she appreciates your care and concern. I'll check back to find out the results of her surgery. Meanwhile, you're both in my prayers.
Thank you for stopping by. I pray your friends surgery is a success and that your grandchildren feel better soon. We are at the start of sick/flu/cold season...YUK!
I hope your friend gets good news. I will continue to pray for her. Sorry to hear that Josh came down with something. That always stinks. We just went through this hand, mouth and foot thing at head start also. It's a real pain in the neck sickness. Thank God it isn't supposed to be too serious. More of a nuisance. I hope everyone feels better soon.
I'll include your friend in my prayers, too. Waiting for results like this is agonizing.
Poor Josh. I can imagine how disappointed he was. I have no idea what this hand, foot thing is, though. What on earth? I'm glad Christina said it's not serious.
Hello all,
Thank you so much for the comments. I think I will take a few days off from posting so I can catch up on my post some reply comments.
