I just want you all to know that I am not complaining about all the things that I do or should I say, I get to do. I am very lucky to have a husband and a family that doesn't mind that I need to have many things going in my life. Not a one of them, complains about how hyper I am and how I feel like I have to be busy 24/7. I am a very blessed woman!
Prayer update: The last nightmare I had was the day I posted about it. Thanks for your prayers! Also, Aaron called last Friday. He is doing good! He loves the food and he said, "he has an awesome Petty officer". He also said, "things are going well". Were going to Chicago at the end of the month for his graduation from bootcamp. He said, "his "A school" is right next door to where he is right now". I can handle five hours for the next 8 months. (5 hours is drivable) Things are going well!
I did get a chance to visit some of your blogs this morning. I hopped over to e-Mom's blog and found a great post on marriage. Maybe ya'll could hop over and take a look! Just click on the button, and it will send you over.
Oooooo. Now I can't wait 'til my hubby gets home tonight!
ReplyDeleteI know it's hard for you to find time to post with all you have going on. I really enjoy your posts when you do have a chance!
ReplyDeleteLori, you have received an award! You can pick it up at

I've missed your posts! But you take care of your family first. They're SO supportive. (Glad your nightmares have stopped!) :~)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Marriage Monday. Hugs, e-Mom
Hey Lori,
ReplyDeleteI do hope things are okay for you and your family. I wish you all much happiness.
And thanks for your kind words on my blog, I arrived in Istanbul this evening, and am about to grab a few hours sleep before I'm off to work. I've added a brief post about my journey - please feel free to pop in and have a read sometime.
Anywayz, please take care and keep smilin'
Best wishes, Graham :)
Hi Lori -- Yes, you are super mom/wife/mother all rolled into one.
ReplyDeleteA lot of us blog too much, I'm trying to cut back too. Mostly by not posting so often and cutting back on reading. Of course I lose readers that way too.
Marriages do take work to keep. Christian marriages--provided each lives according to Christian principles--theoretically should last forever.
I think there are some awfully unhappy here though, which just isn't Christian in itself.
I'll stop there, no time or place here for confessions.
..
Oh yes, thank you for taking time to check on me. And I'm glad you liked the joke, I hope it was ok for the little ones who read my blog.
ReplyDelete..
BTW, one of the Sunday school teachers with me just got to be eighty this weekend.
He keeps on going, he was a retired missionary. That helps make his lessons pretty interesting.
But I have noticed he forgets things quite easily anymore.
..
Be blessed dear one.
