I had A most enjoyable Day

I sure enjoyed my day! It was a bit warm but I enjoy the warm weather.

I love my welcome sign my mom and my step-dad bought me for Mother's Day a few years ago. I want everyone that visits my blog to feel as welcome as if you were visiting my home..Welcome to my home.

I started out this morning by going to my Chemo class. You know, it wasn't so bad. God is doing a work in my heart. As I sat and looked around the room at the other women that will be taking Chemo. I can truly say, I fell a piece about the whole thing. My arm that was affected by the lymph node removal is almost 100 percent back to normal. My Chemo is on the opposite week that I lead Worship. There are just to many blessing to count.

I was blessed to be able to head off to work after my Chemo class. One doesn't realize what they have until they can't do it anymore. I'm blessed to be able to serve God, take care of my family, work, clean, work in my flower beds and sing on the Worship team. I get to do so many things that I have taken for granted over the years. Isn't God good!

This picture was taken Thursday June 5th, 2008.I just took this tonight Sunday June 8th, 2008. My rose bushes came alive.

I have to confess, I did take a little rest on my front porch swing this evening. This swing was given to us by an old friend of ours. Let me tell you, it is very comfortable! I love to grab my Bible and sit on this comfortable swing and read.

It was a beautiful evening here in MI. I enjoyed walking around our home watering my flowers and enjoying working in my flower beds. I planted two peony bushes a few years ago. One finally bloomed.

My husband and I have been busy the last month pulling, planting and pruning our flower garden My rose bushes came live! I just love all the pretty colors.

More of God's beauty.

More of our flower beds.
And more....

And more....

Yea! We got the garden planted.

Last but not least. I am now sitting at my computer, downloading my post for today. I am just really enjoying my life. This picture is old but I think you understand what I'm doing.

God is working in my life! I have been praying that God would help me deal with things I can't change and accept and learn from what has been given to me. Like how I see my husband and my children; I want to enjoying each and every moment with them. I am going to take all the changes that I have had to make lately and count them as blessings from the Lord.

May God bless all of you, as He has blessed me.

A graduation party this evening and then Boaz and I had to clean the church. A few hours of sleep and I will be out of here again. Tomorrow is our last day of soccer before a little break.

Hey, one more thing. Aaron will be home over the 4th of July if you want to see him.

  9. Lori, Your gardens is warm and inviting! We pulled out an old bush last weekend and replaced it with some plants a flowers. What a great feeling to sit on the porch and look at God's creation big and small. I saw your prayer request on Jan's site, I prayed for you that God would surround you with His hands, feet and healing power. My mom just went through breast cancer so I know what you are facing. But be encouraged, with God involved He will make a way.
    With love, Robin
