A woman was asked by a coworker, 'What is it like to be a Christian?'
The coworker replied, 'It is like being a pumpkin.' God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.'
I had such a good morning! I went to work at 2:30 a.m. I got home around 6:30 a.m. just in time to get my boy's up for school. I got their clothes out, fed them, took them to school and went to my daughter-in-laws to exercise. We exercised, made plans for the next few weeks and prepared our Christmas menu. I love spending time with her! I am now getting ready to go to work! Tonight is Awana and then it will be a little quiet time with my family. I'm sure snacks and a movie will be in my near future. Isn't life GREAT!
Have a "bee"autiful day! I'm sure going to try to!
I love the pumpkin example! I have never heard it before. My daughter always calls me "pumpkin", so now I can tell her how special I feel to be called that.
ReplyDeleteYou feel free to pass this along to her. A friend passed it along to me.
